Carolina Cortes

Dr. Carolina Cortés Castillo is one of the most influential leaders in the data centre and technology infrastructure industry in Latin America. She currently serves as Managing Director of ICREA (International Computer Room Experts Association), a globally recognised organisation specialising in data centre certifications and standards.

She is also a founding partner of ACOLDC (Colombian Association of Data Centers and Data Technologies), where she works to support the growth and professionalisation of the sector in Colombia and across the wider region.

Alongside her work in the technology industry, she leads the Dar Amor Foundation, a social initiative focused on supporting vulnerable communities, reflecting her commitment to bringing together technology and social responsibility.

In 2025, Gerente magazine recognised her as one of Colombia’s 100 Most Successful Managers, highlighting her strategic vision, influence and contribution to strengthening the industry’s international profile.
